Doctor Who: BBC is thrilled on how Peter Capaldi's first 5 episodes have done

Posted by

According to sources from the Doctor Who show Peter Capaldi is on course to possible be one of the best Doctor's ever. It looks like they have either finished 5 episodes or is almost done with the fifth episode so BBC and members of the show staff are getting a good idea of how its working out. With that in mind I believe the insight is very accurate and we can all look forward to a great Doctor and great season of Doctor Who.

BBC has intentionally started the story lines over so that Peter has a clean slate and the show is giving very few to no references to earlier story lines and predecessors. This Doctor will have story lines that start from "the bottom up".

"He is his own man - very distinctive"

Peter's look is going to be very slick and classic at the same time, with a touch back to the third Doctor when Jon Pertwee was the Doctor. Peter will wear a dark blue Crombie cote with red lining, with dark blue pants, a white shirt, and black Dr Martin shoes. When Peter was asked about his Doctor's outfit he said “He's woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics. No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100 per cent Rebel Time Lord.”

The new series will be aired in the autumn.
